A year ago I spent a few days on Fraser Island at this resort and enjoyed the beauty of the island and what it has to offer.

At the jetty as you walk up to the resort there is an area that has amazing bull rushers and reed beds that produce the most wonderful away of bird and insect life. I believe that the last 2 weeks of October would be better for photography though.

I definitely will be back for a longer period and I believe that there is more budget oriented accommodation which I shall be pursuing when I return.
