Well an early rise in the hotel saw an overcast start to the day but it improved beautifully. As i sit in the airport lounge there is only light cloud and it must be close to 26C. The visit to the zoo wasn’t as I expected with a few of the exhibits closed for reno’s and new animals settling in. Had great difficulties with my camera settings and wouldn’t you know i had packed the manual in my large suitcase!!  Still got a few nice shots.

On to Houston now (12hr flight) 4hr stopover then to Quito (6hr). arriving at midnight or thereabouts.
