After the visit with Sister Pam and Mike it was off to spend time with my other Sister Nicky and Niece’s Fi and Kate for the new year in Bentley in Suffolk. A beautiful little village in the countryside. Walks in the wood and more historical visits the theme of the days. It is hard to drive in the countryside without turning the corner and finding a church or ruin so a great time.
Fiona was Maid of Honour at a wedding held at Leez Priory and I would have loved to have got the chance to view the inside as the outside showed much ornate building structure.
Bury St Edmonds was a beautiful day out with some fine opportunity of photos and amazingly as I write this blog the Magna Carta will feature in a future episode of the holiday.
