As many of my friends know, I have a love of aeroplanes. I suppose that 9 years in the RAF and 5 working for British airways takes a fair chunk of ones life and I was blessed with the enjoyment and fulfilment.

The weekends air show was predominantly 1st world war and a mixture of aircraft from around the globe. Not my era of knowledge but it was still an incredible 1/2 day of fun.

The opening picture that I chose was a fond memory because our basic training in airframe was that we had to learn to sew to be able to repair the wings. Fortunately the air force had got rid of these type as I got my first posting. Sorry for the lack on the names of the planes but I hope that you enjoy.
