As many Australians know the cyclone that hit Queensland was quite well spread and affected many areas. Living in the South East of the state we have a few waterfalls and it was after the storms and flooding that we managed to do a photo shoot at Curtis falls and Canungra.
Just above Curtis Falls there is a café and if you look closely into the waterfall you can see debris that was furniture that was washed away and into the water.
To drive around and see the utter carnage that the rains and floods created was astounding. The vineyard at Canungra used to have a meandering stream with Platypus, now it is nearly 3 times the size and it will be interesting to see if the Platypus are still around. There was however some big eels and lots of tortoise.
