This was always going to be a hard post as it refreshes so many memories, when I arranged this trip my Daughter said that she envied me the opportunity of visiting Lake Louise. It is quite ironic that it was 5 weeks to the day that I toasted the memory for her.

On my arrival to the Chateau I was afforded the luxury of being upgraded from the rear to the front giving me what would prove to be a very beautiful view. Only spoiled by the poor weather and rain. As I sit writing this it is 11.00am and about 5c with the rain steadily falling. Even in the dismal weather though it is still truly an amazing location and I am sure that I will be back. We move on today to Banff and hopefully better weather.

The Chateau staff were and are 1st rate and I would recommend anyone to take the time to visit.
