After a couple of wet days in Dunedin it was time to head back to Springfield and a few days more friends. On the way back (even in the wet) I managed a stop at the Moeraki Boulders, which are over 60 million years old. Quite a sight!
A night in Springfield saw the next day’s weather improve so off we headed to Arthur’ Pass, as I missed this at the beginning of the holiday I was pleased to enjoy the sights although I was taken aback when told the road had moved in the last earthquake…..
I might not have driven this road Had I know earlier so I suppose that I could not see in the rains at the beginning was fortuitous….
Beautiful day and I hope that the next couple are as pleasant.
